Today we when to the Hayward Gallery to explore and interact with art installations and mirrors. It was an amazing experience to interact with the art, but also to watch other people how they interact with it. Everyone looks and sees the interactions differently.

Some of the work that really got to me;
1. 20:50 (1987) by Richard Wilson
This was an amazing experience. The further I walked down to the oil on the passageway the more self - absorbed I became.
"and if you can do something that unsettles those preconceptions, you can generate whole new way of understanding your place in the world."
I will definitely be using this quote for my essay in some sort of form or way. This room made me feel so self - centred. Even though I knew people were watching me, I knew they were talking, I was so self - involved that I could not think or focus on anything else but myself. The smell was so strong and the emptiness in the room felt uncomfortably good. I almost wanted to lay in the oil and see whether I will sink down or just get stuck.

2. WaltenLinie (2017) by Alicja Kwade
This one really made me think and really made me be self - aware of what's around me. I was walking slow because I wasn't confident to what I will walk into or not. I was looking at other people that they were touching the black frames to hold onto and see if there is a mirror or they can walk past. The objects really helped to make the place be more of an illusion than real, it also made it more dramatic.

These were the top two my favourite, then I absolutely also loved the Narcissus Garden by Yayoi Kusama. I was looking at this little girl - she wanted to see her reflection in EVERY SINGLE BALL - it was adorable. It's also something I can use and add to my essay how children become narcissistic before their even born.
Another good one that I found interesting was the 360 Illusion V by Jeppe Hein. It was also pretty cool for the fact that you could sit down and watch it rotate. It was interesting to see how you can be upside down without being upside down. When I was looking at it I was trying so hard to ignore everything around me and imagine I'm actually spinning.
This has really made me excited and I will be looking out for more exhibitions like this. It's amazing to see how fast the time went and all the different emotions I had.
