I spoke to Rob from Kind and Carta and these are some of the suggestion he gave me which will improve my portfolio.
Blog before;
I did this blog about 2 years ago for my submissions to show evidence for my work, which is indeed the blog you are reading on right now. When creating my portfolio and realising that I indeed want to be a strategist an idea came to mind. Strategists are all about their thinking process and their strategic practise. This blog shows my thinking brain perfectly. I gave Rob the idea of linking these two together and he though that was a great idea.

One of the things he suggested changing was updating the visual look to it and creating it more visually professional. I decided to use the same colour scheme which I had already created for the portfolio website. However, I reversed it!
The colour yellow stand for optimism and happiness. In my portfolio website I have done this through the visuals and the working. The main colour is burgundy which stand for worth and business professional, it's also quite sleek and clean.
By reversing these two colours I show that my words are worth and the energy optimistic and energetic.

For the portfolio there weren't many things to change. Rib told me to take away the links which you can share the work because its as easy as coping the URL code and pasting, whereas having those icons to share the work makes it confusing as if this project has products on these links. Another thing he mentioned is having more progress work on there to show people my thinking process.

Overall, this is the final change, I am sure that I will look at this in a week and change some stuff again, add or whatever, but for now we have this. I added a button which will take you straight to the digital sketchbook meaning this blog, it made it a little bit neater and more professional.
