Today I decided to look back into all the projects I have done over the years and see what I can re-do or develop further. This really made me realise how much work I have actually done!!! It's crazy!!
I decided to do some highlighting for organisation and also to remind me what is what important and what will consume more of my time.
Current work in the portfolio;

Key;
Green - is altogether the project I want in my portfolio.
Orangy/pinky colour - is for the things that are already there, but I need to make small tweaks and improvements.
Red - is for the projects that I hope to re-do and they are not in the portfolio right now.
Year 1;
From this year I have a lot of little projects. The ones I think have potential is obviously the Campaign Development which is the O2 stuff, that definitely needs to go in! I have also already included the designs from harry Duley which we did, I think they are quite simple and stripped back, which contrasts well with my work, shows variety.
Year 2;
Luckily, the second year got a bit more juicy. I will be definitely re-doing the Greenwich Psychology brief from the beginning because I spoke to Prav and he straight up told me it doesn't work. I also think its a good client to have int he portfolio.
I really am not a fan of the Mozilla brief, I simply didn't understand it and I personally don't think they knew themselves what they wanted and expected from us! The name is amazing to have in your portfolio, however if you can't answer it then this will be a disadvantage for your skills and for how you want your portfolio to look like.
I already have the Wild Brief brief in, I just added a few mock-ups to visualise it better.
Another project I really like is the provoke. I did really well on it and it is a good topic. I will aim to change some of the copy and create an online magazine version of it and post some of the reactions to show that the aim has been met.
Year 3;
This year I already have added the self - directed brief into my portfolio, so that is ticked and done.
I would like to add my Industry Collaboration which is the Apple project. I do need to do some things, some mock - ups and maybe get some feedback, because I am not sure how to put it together.
Finally, I enjoyed the competition brief, Teen Vogue is definitely going in. I need to develop my designs further, I need to give some negative space and allow it to breathe and space things out a little because it's too cluttered.
Overall, I have a problem. My goal is to not have one label on my name. I don't wanna be just a designer or just a motion graphic whatever, I want to do a lot of little different things. I know that when I work in one project for a long time I do create good work, but that is if I find it passionate and educational or it's personal. So with my portfolio it's kind of crazy. I have a bit of type, a bit of motion, a bit of design, a bit of branding, basically a bit of everything. The thing I enjoy most is coming up with ideas, finding insights and expending all of these things, sometimes it's the opposite I just wanna sit down and doodle and make deigns. So overall I think my portfolio reflects me pretty accurately? But will the lectures things this too? Will they make me make it more specific towards one thing? I hope not, because that wouldn't be very me.
