Newsletter

I really enjoy working with InDesign, I worked a lot with it in my A levels so it's quite nice to go back to it and remind myself of it and refresh my skills. What I found hard here was for the fact that throughout the whole time Naima did not think of any proper copy. She didn't fully worked on it and though about it. Most of the copy was done by me and I did not like either enjoy that because I am just bad with words. I structure them poorly and my dictionary isn't big to be able to make something straight, simple and just explain the point. This made me quite anxious because it meant that we would not have put the best work possible out there.

Draft 1

I decided to go a bit wild with the newsletter but still keep it simple. I was playing around with different ideas, moving the text, using different colours, etc.

Final

I definitely think that even though this is our final product, it can be worked out so much better. When you work a design after a while you stop seeing how you can improve it because you've been looking at it for so long. When I was showing it to Naima all I kept getting was 'I like it!' when I had specifically asked her for feedback and developments. It kind of drive me insane. I decide to just make sure I put the three main parts which are important for the newsletter; about the campaign, about Wild Fizz itself and of course the call to action at the bottom if customers wanted to contact or visit the website.

The stunt

I helped Naima come up with the idea, however she design the whole thing itself and she also worked on the social media stuff.

Overall, I think Naima was the most challenging partner I had. It was fun and enjoyable but definitely could have been done better. The communication wasn't our strongest point and there was just small things that could have been worked on for this project to be at its finest.

Overall, I enjoyed this brief. It was definitely better than the Mozilla one. I had more ideas and insights for it. My mind was much more...
