As Valentine's day is approaching, I managed to find a 'cool' event called 'solo sex - Valentine's day love'.
The talk was organised by sex+.

Ruby Rare;
At the talk I also had the opportunity to meet and talk to Ruby Rare.
Ruby Rare is a sex educator who works for sexual health charity Brook, runs pleasure and sex toy workshops, and Body Love Sketch Club with Rosy Pendlebaby.
Thoughts;
It was the first time I had ever been to such an event. I didn't know what to expect. Forget about the fact that it took me forever to find it, it was definitely an experience!
I was surprised that there were men because the event was specifically for female pleasure, but it's also interesting to think that they want to know what women think and want! This talk was so on brief!

Overall;
It was very helpful, I managed to get some useful information. It was also nice to see how people feel and how they interact with this topic. Most people that went to the talk were alone and didn't know others. This was interesting, is this topic still such a taboo topic as it was before.. I am beginning to question this. I got some things that I can look into and research. I also managed to network my way to Ruby Rare, so if I need to make an interview and connect with her I have this opportunity!
After that I decided to enjoy Shoreditch in it's lovely state at night... so enjoy it too..
