After pitching to the class and the lectures, one of the most important thing I have to do is a brand identity.
I didn't know what to call this project. I didn't want it to be just like 'sex education' or something like that. I wanted to have a little twist or a little something else.
I started thinking how I can make this more personal, I am quite passionate about this and it is something I enjoy learning out and educating myself. There is always more to learn.
I decided to maybe you a Bulgarian word and write it with English alphabet.
The word I used was pleasure. After all this whole project is about pleasure. In Bulgarian this means, 'laska'. If you were to translate it with Google Translate you will get 'grace', but laska is the soft touch and the warmth you get from pleasure.
Logo idea 1;
I first started off by playing around with the colour palette I already have and the shape of a circle. Something about the circle makes this look more elegant and compliments the font. I think the reason for this is because of the roundness it's not as sharp as a square for example.
Logo idea 2;
Even though I knew I already liked the circle, I decided to try out the square anyway. It looks more formal and harsh because of the corners/edges.
Logo idea 3;
Because people wouldn't know what laska literally means I decided to add a little hint. I think this logo works much better. I am usually not comfortable with negative space, but this half circle is definitely allowing the name to stand out more and breath.
Feedback;
The feedback was quite successful. Most people choose the same one which made it quite easy.
