Let's catch up & formative feedback

Today I when to class with WTF moment in my head. I was quite worried because people around me were getting very good responses on their projects such as; hate, getting blocked, people sending them messages, whereas I was kind of stuck because people actually were liking my idea?!

YOUR HASHTAGS RIGHT!

At one point of the morning I do not know what I did or what I was thinking but out of no where I decided, "ok, get your sh*t together and get something unusual." So, I just though okay, google MEN that support women and follow them. The I though okay, google WOMEN that support women and follow them. From there I started looking at their hashtags and the people they tagged too and out of no where I had a person, after a person, after a person... (you get the point..) following me back.

Strategy or call to action?! you name it.

From now on I will carefully choose my hashtags that suit not just every post but specifically to that post. You don't realise how important they really are until you use them correctly! Let me show you why...

1. I started receiving followers with a blue tick!

2. I started receiving followers who were women and support my work.

3. I also obviously received horny followers who God knows what they were thinking... tbh I don't really want to know..

Formative feedback

Steve -

I presented my presentation to Steve and showed him how I have developed from the start of the project to now. It was interesting to see his opinion because he gave me some ideas to think about and look out for such as;

1. maybe I can create a template and send it out to people to create their own illustration with the features provided from me

2. make sure to keep it simple if I was going to do that

3. don't go off track and widen this whole project out for billions of ways to expand it, the simpler the better

When Xavi looked at my work I had a laughter as my reaction. In moments like this I think to myself; "oh God, am I doing this right?!" We are suppose to provoke people and when people laugh out loud I'm just like are you disgust and you're hiding it with your laughter or are you generally finding it like "OMG, HAHHAHHAHAHA"?!

He also recommended me to look at this website. The women started it off by just asking her friends to send her things that their boyfriends do wrong and she would illustrate them always in..

1. same colours

2. the female always was just presented with a hand

3. the blood was always coloured

4. always used the same type

So, he said as I have already started going this direction I should make sure I stay on this track and not go off the rails. Duh.

The website is absolutely awesome. It fits perfectly to my project because I was thinking about messaging people and asking about what men have said to them that provoked them OR printing out posters and putting them around areas I know to see provocative quotes or situations. Overall, I think it was a good day, I understood how to have more control over my followers, hashtags, developments and where to take this project now to. It's also important to understand that it's easy to get off track or get stuck to the same place and start procrastinating which btw .. I AM AMAZING AT. Ops. I need to keep it simple and tighten it around instead of going crazy with different ideas to how to expand it and make audience react to it.

I'm sorry guys I hate to do this to you all, but I'm off to take a nap.
