De - briefing the brief
The difference between those two briefs is the passion I received when I finished reading about teenVogue.
Yes, I have done two other projects to do with sex, but if that is my passion I will not stop.
I spoke to Rob today and showed him my previous work and I talked to him about the fact that I am a little nervous as I personally though the teachers would have something against me doing another sexual project.
He was very understanding.
On the last photo you see, I straight away had thoughts, ideas and things I know I need to find out to be able to tackle the challenge.
At the beginning I was debating whether to do something outside of my comfort zone, however in my last project I did that and I fucked up.
I don't have the time and I can not allow myself to get that low again.
Next steps;
After speaking to Rob, this is how I am going to tackle my research.
1. In depth research about teenVogue, who they are, how they do what they do, etc.
2. Their audience and everything about them, creating a persona? Using this for my presentation for D&AD?!
3. Who are they battling against and why, what do those brands do that is better or worse and how to outgrow them.
4. What kind of culture they are looking into? I have to make sure I feature 'The Case For Her', so in depth research about this topic and campaign.
5. Let's make art and improve it..
