- `Bulgaria is waiting for emigrated students to come back home`

- Bulgarians would leave so they can earn money and send it back home so the rest of the family can survive. This was the case with my family. My mum left to come and work in England. She would send money back to my grandparents as their pension is so small. The pension would only cover the bills, there would be little to no money left for clothing and food.

- The education in Bulgaria is very good. However, after finishing your studies only little job offers are made with good pay.

- Bulgaria has the lowest average salary in the EU, at €575 a month, the lowest minimum wage, at €260, and the smallest average pension, at €190

- The upshot is that more than 40 per cent of Bulgarians are now at risk of poverty and social exclusion – twice the proportion of Germans who find themselves in the same predicament.

- 2,204 teenagers between 15 and 19 years left Bulgaria; as twice as many people (4 260) between 20 and 24 years chose to cross Bulgaria's borders forever.

I feel upset. I am very passionate for my country and I would hate to see it die. We have amazing culture, nature and a beautiful language which was the original language to many countries around us. Bulgaria was established before many countries which looked up on us and took inspiration from us. However... with time, technology and politics things have changed. It's time to bring the people back into the country with all of the knowledge we have build form other places and make Bulgaria strong again.
