I decided to use a new software for the audio. This way I will be able to expand my skills with a new software and play around with the audio separately so it fits perfectly for my videos. This will also allow me to expand my research into areas that I haven't researched before - audio in videos. Audio is important, the tone and when it is used. It can have a large impact on how the audience understand and take in the message that I am trying to send to them through the video.
New software;
I decided to look into what Adobe has to offer in terms of recording audio - I found Audition. It was very easy to use and to record the audio. I will be experimenting later on to see how I can edit my audio, by making possibly making the voice deeper and use basic stuff such as cutting audio and saving it properly so it can be used in Premiere Pro.

To record the actual audio I used the microphone on a pair of 'professional' headphones. I experimenting by using a microphone, the microphone on my laptop and those headphones. The headphones were very good because it recorded mainly the audio coming towards the microphone, where as the rest of the equipment wasn't sharp and recorded other elements that were happening in and around the room such as; the wind coming through the window.
Audio example with microphone & laptop audio;
I had to put it into Premiere Pro and turn it into a video to be able to upload it here. The audio sounds okay, but quite blunt and muted.
Audio example with headphones;
Once again I had to put the audio into Premiere Pro to be able to upload it here. As you can hear the audio on this sounds much clearer as well you can't hear the noise around. I personally much prefer this. I think it will allow the audience to focus on the voice more. Furthermore, it will save me time with the editing because I wouldn't have to make it 'clear' as much as the other one. This way I can focus my time on the videos.
Audio;
The image below is all of the audio I have done so far for the videos. As I have explained before I will be using the same audio for all three videos. I want to show consistency and how they all connect.

Audio & emotions;
When I was recording the voice overs I had a structure to what and how the voice should be recorded in the sense of emotions.

Female example voice;
Male voice example;
Next step;
The next step is to look into video and how they use audio. I also want to experiment with the audio and begin to edit the voice. Seeing how I can make them deeper if needed. For this I need to make sure the visuals of the video are done, so I have a clearer focus on the tone of voice. Let's begin with all the YouTube tutorials for audio editing....
