Video ads for destinations and travelling - research on edits (LO_1&2) (AC_2&3)

I needed some inspiration for my editing for the videos. I am a little bit stuck because I need to build my skills on how to edit videos. I have decided to work in Premiere Pro as before all I have used is After Effects. The other reason is also because I want to make it a professional edit, I am using library footage and I personally think that After Effects it's more about animations.


Stills;


This example is very good for a still. I still haven't considered to how my stills will be. I think I need to first build and create a visual style for the videos, so I can make sure that all of the elements link well together.

This video is a good example to how 'slow' can also be good. I am very hooked onto the idea of the video to be fast paced so it creates an adrenaline rush and an emotional impact.



I really enjoy this ad, it's short, impact and very clever. It gives you the message straight away, it's understandable and 'cute'. To whoever I have shown this ad they have liked it. I also like the editing and how it's done. It's considered very well, where to be zoomed in, where it should slow down and how the audio would like with the visuals; for example, when the plane takes off they focus on the paws. The small details like these are the ones that make it great and give the strong power of the video.



Copy examples;


This is a great example about the copy I want to try and make. In these ads, the copy is consistent. The copy flows throughout all of the videos as it is also adaptive. I want to try and make my copy like that too. The idea is the same throughout all of the videos, the only thing that changes is the scenery, just like in these videos, the people quite in different ways.
