Moodboarding;
Bulgaria;
I decided to do a moodboard which represents Bulgaria; from the language, to the flat, most important places, events, celebrations, etc. This is not everything, but these are the main and important ones.

Bulgarian propaganda;
Bulgarian propaganda was never really well known like the Russian one. I decided to look into it and see the visual language. As we were fighting with the Russians, it's very normal to see the reference that we made and the collaborations between the countries. The posters are a little bit different. Less reds and more greens, which makes sense as the flag colours do present themselves into the country and the meaning of them. The visual language is still tough and bold, however a little bit old like and the colours aren't clean.

Soviet propaganda;
The visual language us RED. What I really like is the unity of this moodboard. The Bulgarian quote for the country is 'unity makes strength' and in all of these visuals you see unity. This is going to be a very important element I keep referring back to.

Inspirations;
This was an amazing book full with examples of what I should be looking into. The examples below I have chosen is because I want to adapt them for Bulgaria and also because they are very well known.

UNITY

The colours below represent Bulgaria very well; white, green and red. This is an example to how only with three country it can be very playful, bold and interesting.

The poster below is quite emotional. I think it's important to know that if you make them vulnerable and scared it's a better way of getting someone's attention. However, that is for me to find out and experiment and test it out.

The poster below, I can image her screaming 'come back'.

Overall;
I feel very excited about this project. I have been very soft and gentle with my work recently, I want to do something bold and colourful and outstanding. I want to challenge myself and see how I can really push this. This brief is an actual real life problem. I love my country and I am very passionate about it and I would have to see it going down. It's time we do something about it and make awareness. Wake up the country! Shake it up a bit and show them what we have and what we have been missing for the past few years, OUR PEOPLE.
