For my campaign I want to make a brand and show how all of the elements connect together. I have decided to look into inspiration and current Bulgarian logos as for ideas.
Surprise me;
This is quite fun. You don't expect the noises or the visuals and they are using a simple box or more like an upside down magician hat; to show different ways you can be surprised. What they have done very cleverly is that they have used motion to bring it alive and make it come alive.
Bulgaria's new logo;
This is not really considered new because it was done in 2013. Also, it never really took off because this is the first time I have seen it, or maybe they just haven't used it well. The thing I like about it is how they have visualised it in different way and have almost kind of created 'series' for the logos and they can be adapted to different elements.
Bulgarian logos moodboard;
I decided to take all of the logos of Bulgaria and put them together as moodboard to see them. This really helped with seeing what is most common and repetitive. Very few are individual to their own character. The main thing that is used is the colours of the flag, which is important it's part of the identity of the country.
Bulgarian stuffed peppers;
As I was browsing around, I accidentally found this image and it got me very interested because of the idea behind it. Bulgarian stuffed peppers are very well known. Showing it being cut and it gave me the idea of showing layers and what is underneath those layers. The flag has three colours which are kind of also presented in three layers. I think this has a potential and by experimenting I will be able to see whether it will work or not. By having three or four layers it will allow me to refer them back to the videos and make a clear brand connection.
